Meet Van – Founder of London Base Properties
Van is the heart behind London Base and plays an active role in the day-to-day running of the company. His hands-on approach means you might find him personally answering your message or returning your call!
With a passion for architecture, design, and creating memorable guest experiences, Van is committed to ensuring every stay feels special. He also happens to be a big fan of good food and happy guests — so you’re in great hands.

How do I book?
Complete the 'Contact Us' page or email directly to guest@londonbase.co and a member of the team will be in touch.

When & how do I pay?
Once you have confirmed and booked your dates you will receive a rental agreement along with a payment link

Will i be required to pay a deposit?
Yes a deposit will always be required and the total deposit will differ depending on which property you are booking

What is the cancellation policy?
The cancellation policy will be discussed upon booking and be included in your rental agreement

What are your house rules?
The house rules can be provided on request, general rules apply such as no parties, only guests on the booking to stay at the property ect. A list of house rules will be provided within the property house manual which will be sent along with your confirmation.

Do you allow pets to stay?
We do have some pet friendly properties, please reach out if you would like a list of those specific properties.

Do you offer short stay only or also long stays?
At London Base we are always open to accommodate the dates, length of stay you are looking for depending on availability.

How will I gain access and retrieve the keys?
A member of the team may meet you on arrival to hand over the keys, however some properties are self check in. Self check in properties the keys will be collected from either a local Key Nest or Key Box.

What will the check in / check out time be?
Check-in is from 3 pm and check-out by 11 am. We’ll always try to accommodate early check-in or late check-out when possible, but this can only be confirmed on the day depending on other bookings. If you’d like a guaranteed early or late check-in/out, please contact us in advance for pricing and availability.

Can you provide additional items such as baby cot, sofa bed set up?
Yes, if the property is suitable, we’re happy to arrange this. Please reach out in advance to confirm availability and whether an additional cost will apply.

Do you offer property cleaning service and linen change?
Yes, this is something we can arrange for an additional fee. However, if your stay is over 14 nights, you may be offered this as a complimentary service. Please contact us in advance to confirm availability.

Who would I contact if I had maintenance or property issues?
We have a small, dedicated team available to assist with any property or maintenance issues throughout your stay.

Can you help with arranging transport?
Yes, once your booking is confirmed, we can recommend a trusted company to help make your arrival and departure smooth and stress-free.
